Noah has been having a lot of fun in Santa Maria, truly living up his 6 months. :) He's now sitting up and creeping around the floor like a little army ranger. He's definitely keeping himself entertained.

First Cross Country Trip! GA to CA '08
What a trip! We left Athens, GA at 9pm on Wed the 21st and arrived in Santa Maria, Ca Saturday morning at 10am. Although we certainly didn't beat our previous records, Trip #14 went pretty well for having a 6 month old and 2 dogs. Noah was such a trooper and only started getting fussy Thursday evening (not bad considering we had driven straight through the night and day...22 hours in a car seat might do that to you). So we decided to stop in Amarillo and stay the night in a hotel. While searching for a place to stay I discovered that Noah had completely cut one tooth and the 2nd one was starting to protrude (2 bottom front teeth). Talk about timing. Now it made sense as to why he had been gnawing on his thumb and hand the whole week! One of the highlights of the trip though was the stay in the hotel since there was no crib. I pulled out a drawer and Noah fit into it perfectly. He went right to sleep and we laughed ourselves to sleep at how ridiculous it all was.
A Visit to the Doctor
We went in early for Noah's 6 month check up since we were leaving for the summer. Noah really enjoyed the visit and proceeded to eat most of the tissue paper before Dr. Garrard made it in.
Mother's Day- 5 months old
Jeff set up a great picnic for me at Watson Mill Bridge State Park and we had a fantastic afternoon. Noah loved putting his feet in the water and was quite intrigued by the little rapids flowing over the rocks. This was Noah's first time in water outside of the bath.
