Halloween 2008

The untold story of Yoda...in the first Star Wars, Yoda was in fact a Jedi child raised by Leia and Han. The general audience didn't go for that version, but the Kilpatrick household knows the truth.

We had a great Halloween. Noah went to daycare and we both worked and afterwards I took Noah to the park where we followed the geese around. Then when we returned home we passed out candy to the trick-or-treaters and got ready to go to a costume party at the house of a guy that I play hockey with. Noah had a great time at the party and lasted until about 9:30 at which point we put him to bed in their guest bedroom and rejoined the party. It was great and the family costume seemed to be a hit.

My yarn buns ended up working out after a lot of twisting and tucking. This is my Empire Strikes Back shot before I donned the white robish dress.
Yoda-Noah gets ready to hand out candy.

I just love this shot of Yoda on his tippy-toes.

During the day we dressed up as greasers since the costumes were way quicker and easier to put on. Noah got some laughs at daycare and we got a kick out of matching. Uhoh...does this mean we're going to be the "sweater" family.
